Cloudesley Association Update

1. PlanningDowrey Street Site (P2015/0081/FUL) – IMPORTANT DATE

Planning Committee for the planning application in relation to the Dowrey Street site will take place on 24 March 2015 at the Islington Town Hall, commencing at 7:30pm.

If you wish to attend the meeting, it is important to note that it is ‘a meeting held in public’ and not a ‘public meeting’. Alternatively, you may contact Planning Enquiries on 020 7527 2278. Permission to speak at the committee will however be subject to the discretion of the Chair of the Committee.

Even if people do not wish to speak, any residents that have concerns should consider attending the planning committee meeting, as it will show the committee that the locals care and having residents at the meeting will make an impact.

We understand that no revisions have been made to the plans since they have been submitted, but we will circulate any relevant material produced by the authority to all as soon as such materials are available.

Just a reminder of the Cloudesley Association residents meeting and, as promised, a proposed agenda as set out below:

Time:                    6.30pm for a 6.45pm start. The meeting will be no longer than 1 hour.


1.    Meet Camilla Gersh, Church Buildings Support Officer for the Anglican Church who will talk to us and answer any questions regarding the church in Cloudesley Square.

2.       Dowrey Street Planning Application – Update following the Planning Committee Meeting.

3.       Constitution and AGM.

4.       Any other business.
